Under the umbrella of blue flag beach management committee, Puri wildlife Division and Jungle lore foundation organized environmental education event on awareness of coastal biodiversity at golden beach Puri. This event was done by organizing photos and model exhibition on coastal flora and fauna. 100 of wildlife photos were erected on the bamboo facing around the beach sand binders and models were displayed on sandy beach respectively. This was giving a proper understanding about the displayed photo and model of the biotic community. The scenario was creating a fantastic life show of the coastal wildlife.

Shri Ashwini ku. Choubey, Union Minister MoEF&CC, Govt. of India inaugurated and participated and discussed about the coastal habitat and site-specific biotic community of the coastal area. Locals, Students, Beach goers, Tourists and Children with their parents came to see these displays, as many of which were quite new to them. The majority of stakeholders, more or less understood the goal of the event and advised to conduct such type of events repeatedly.
