Claiming over millions of lives covid 19 has shaken the world and even developed countries headed towards an uncertain future including economic loss.

The world health organization declared it to be a public health emergency of international concern on 31 June 2020 covid-19 patients treated and locked in critical care unit. Lockdown imposed throughout the globe.

On other side pandemic covid-19 having positive side effect on wild habitats. Decrease in traffic, pollution had given wildlife new play grounds.

A massive greenhouse gas and decline in air pollution recorded during that period.

Reports in Odisha indicate that Dolphins, Sharks and other cetacean species returned to the coast after long time. Some endangered wildlife also roaming near village areas and roads are indicators of richness.

But sadly, urban wildlife is suffering a lot during this period. Due to lack of food, water, loss of wild instinct their waiting of easy meal lasts long. With the support of forest department, we somehow able to tackle this growing menace.

  1. On every week we distributed fruits, vegetables and other food items among them.
  2. Patrolling with ground level forest staff with intelligence gathering and awareness through social media platform.
  3. Requesting and motivating local Odisha police to keep special focus on forest and forest fringe areas.
